As I was heading out for work this morning I realized a cranky mood might be trying to destroy my Friday, so I forced myself to smile the whole way down the 4 flights of stairs in our building (try it! it works!) Plus, it’s hard to be grumpy when it’s +31, you’re wearing your favorite cat dress, and a lunch is happening this afternoon in celebration of your work as a summer student. Yay! Here are 4 things keeping me inspired this week:
Top Left: I’m dying for a pair of oxfords. I’ve filled several online shopping cards with different colors and styles but my inner poor girl screams every time I go to checkout:p
Top Right: “OPTIMIST: Someone who figures that taking a step backward after taking a step forward is not a disaster, it’s more like a cha-cha!” This is speaking to my soul. In 2 weeks I am doing a great big cha-cha leaving Saskatoon(and my boyfriend) to go back to school in Alberta. *Sigh*
Bottom Left: I remember a couple years ago (shortly after turning 18 and feeling invincible every Friday night) I was suffering the most rockin’ hangover, so I took all my blankets off my bed and moved them outside to the grass where I treated myself to the most amazing outdoor 3 hour nap. If you’d like to try it, I’d suggest minusing the crippling hangover and adding someone to snuggle, like the photo above:)
Bottom Right: I’ve been thinking I liked the idea of really simple wrapping for Christmas gifts this year- until I saw these guys. I’ll be stocking up on googly eyes and clipping mouths out of magazines to turn everyone’s gifts into lovably ugly creatures >:)
PS: A mashup I’m overplaying this morning. Have a great weekend!
